Hayati Ecer graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences in 1960 and started his career at the Ministry of Finance in 1960. In 1961, he passed the Certified Bank Auditor Exam and was appointed as a Sworn Banks Auditor.
From 1968 to 1970, he earned a Master’s degree in Economics from Syracuse University in the United States, and from 1989 until 1989 he held various positions on the Sworn Bank Auditing Board.
In 1989, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Insurance Supervision Board.
Hayati Ecer has 32 years of successful bureaucracy. He published articles in various professional newspapers and magazines and studied banking and insurance at Istanbul University Faculty of Social Sciences between 1992 and 1998.
He has been as Sworn-in Certified Public Accountant since 1992. Since 1995 in HLB Saygın Certified Financial Consultancy and Independent Auditing Inc. is working as a responsible independent auditor. He is responsible for the supervision of many banks, insurance companies and intermediary institutions.
